What color is really accurate?
I look forward to bridesmaids dresses on my Mac, and then she looked back on the PC of a friend, and the blue color the clothes were quite different. On the PC it is a very dark navy blue, and on my mac, it's a blue bottle / navy / teal color, which is what I hoped it really was. So what gives? Which is correct? When I print, it is closer to the color is on the Mac.
Unfortunately, this is a pretty convoluted PC vs. Mac Declaration of color profiles and how the RGB color model is different from CMYK. Let me say first that graphic designers spend good money that each piece of equipment the same color scheme. The simple answer is that neither probably right. Although Mac makes a really good job with color profile synchronization out of the box does not mean that it's right. The bottom line here is that with the equipment you have, you can not be absolutely sure you want to look at just the right color until you see it with their own Eyes.
