A wedding dress for all seasons
Toronto wedding dress designer Kim Ironmonger be used to trigger their Valencienne Bridal Boutique of each year after Thanksgiving and would not reopen the ride until January to taking advantage of the seasonal downturn in their business on holiday.
"I can not do more," Ironmonger says. "For the last three years, I have so much business in the winter that I no longer had to close the store. Winter brides prevents me from my Holiday! "
If Ironmonger opened her shop 25 years ago the focus was clearly on the June bride. And although the summer is very popular for weddings, are more couples walk down the aisle during the colder months, injecting new energy, experts say, the Canadian trade wedding, a $ 4-billion-a-year industry.
